Shop Signs

Your fascia is the first thing a customer judges you on. We design, build and fit shop signs that look sharp on day one and are still sharp when the lease renews.

What we do

Fascias, projecting signs and window graphics that earn their keep on the high street.

[Placeholder copy] A good shop sign is legible from across the street, honest about what the business does and built for the weather it will live in. We make fascia signs in aluminium composite, folded trays, flat panels and individual built-up letters, illuminated or not, to suit the building and the budget.

[Placeholder copy] We survey every shopfront before quoting. That means measuring the fascia properly, checking what the existing sign is fixed to, and flagging anything that needs advertisement consent before you commit.

[Placeholder copy] Window graphics, projecting signs and interior signage can be handled in the same job, so the whole frontage arrives coordinated rather than assembled piecemeal over years.

The problems we solve

  • Your frontage looks dated

[Placeholder] A fascia is the first thing a customer judges you on. Replacing it is usually the cheapest visible improvement a shop can make.

  • You are unsure about consent

[Placeholder] Illuminated signs and listed buildings have rules. We tell you where you stand before any money changes hands, and prepare the drawings if an application is needed.

  • The frontage grew piecemeal

[Placeholder] Fascia, window graphics and projecting sign added years apart rarely match. We can handle the whole frontage in one coordinated job.

How we do it

  1. We come and look

[Placeholder] A survey, or a photograph and a registration, depending on the job. We measure the actual vehicle or building rather than working from assumptions.

  2. You approve a proof

[Placeholder] Artwork laid out on your real vehicle template or building elevation, so you see the finished thing before anything is printed.

  3. We make it here

[Placeholder] Printed, laminated and fabricated in our own Spennymoor workshop, on trade-grade materials specified for where the job will live.

  4. Our own team fits it

[Placeholder] Fitted by the people who made it, in our indoor bays or on your site, with the access equipment and paperwork the job needs.

Common questions

Do I need permission to change my shop sign?

[Placeholder] Often not for a like-for-like non-illuminated replacement, but illuminated signs and listed buildings have rules. We will tell you where you stand before any money changes hands.

Can you reuse my existing sign tray?

[Placeholder] Frequently, yes. If the existing tray is sound we can re-face it, which saves a meaningful amount on the job.

What about illuminated signs?

[Placeholder] We build LED illuminated trays and halo-lit letters, and we can convert older fluorescent signs to LED, which cuts running costs and flicker.
